It is the tenth anniversary edition of the FORMULA 1 2018 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX and Yas Marina Circuit, the home to the Abu Dhabi F1 is gearing up to please its visitors with some customized options. Over the past nine editions, the event has come to epitomize a truly global sport and 60 per cent of all ticket holders last year were overseas visitors. Incorporating the theme of ‘Swipe Up’, this year will provide added value at the #AbuDhabiGP.
New! Online ticket buyers can now choose their preferred seats in one of the five available Grandstands.
New! The ‘Super Parks Pass’: Starting at AED1,340 for Abu Dhabi Hill, this 3-day package allows unlimited access to all three Yas Island Parks – Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi – on Wednesday through Sunday.
New! One-day Paddock Club ticket at AED3,450: This new Friday-only ticket package provides race goers with the ultimate F1® experience and includes exclusive Paddock access, premium food and beverage options, plus the popular Thursday and Friday night After-Race Concerts.
Lounge and viewing options
Visitors can also book the new Terrace Hospitality packages in Main Grandstand with views of Turn 1 or North Grandstand overlooking the hairpin and enjoy upscale hospitality located at the ends of each Grandstand. The Champions Club is situated across two levels and offers some of the best views of Abu Dhabi and the Grand Prix. Marsa Boxes are the traditional corporate hospitality offering, available with a branded box on top of an all-inclusive F&B offering. Club upgrades are available on three-day Grandstand tickets and provide access to an informal club with fantastic facilities including TVs showing all the racing action, outdoor seating, plus a private à la carte restaurant with cash bar. Lounge ticket holders will be able to watch all the Formula 1® action from a reserved seat in the top level of the North Grandstand or West Grandstand with fantastic views of the North hairpin (North) and long straight (West). Offered as a three-day ticket, The Lounge provides conveniently located food and beverage outlets. Yas Suites located in West, North and Main Grandstands are available as a three-day package (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
‘Kids Go Free’ package returns!
With each three-day adult Grandstand ticket, a kid is allowed free entry on Friday. Up to four children under 12 will get free Friday entry to that Grandstand, as well as free access to the three Yas Island parks offering a real ‘Family Friday’ F1® experience.
The F1 season has embarked on its thrilling journey with Sebastian Vettel clinching a victory from Lewis Hamilton at the F1® curtain raiser in Melbourne and will arrive for its fitting finale in Abu Dhabi on the 23 – 25th weekend in November. Yas Marina Circuit has announced that tickets are now on sale with 30 per cent discounts available for those who book before 31st May. Corporate clients will also be rewarded with discounts for early booking.
A packed four days of entertainment will kick off with fan-favourite ‘Super Thursday’ and Etihad Airways A380 fly-by. Race goers can again get up close and personal with their F1® heroes at the Public Pit Lane Walk. World-class musical artists will rock the daily After-Race concert and Yasalam, the music and entertainment festival too, will be back for the 10th consecutive year.
