On September 18th, Nissan will create a special “Tiida Moment” with a unique launch event to be held simultaneously in multiple locations across the region.

The Tiida fans who scowled when Nissan introduced the Sentra can smile again. The Sentra belonged to a completely different segment that it almost dominates in new-car presence today. The all-new Nissan Tiida hatchback is back, shaped to complement their lifestyle, with dynamic styling looks, advanced technology and class-leading spaciousness. Already commanding 54% of the expanding compact hatchback segment in the Gulf, Nissan aims to more than double the sales and extend market share beyond 60% with the introduction of the second generation Tiida.

Nissan Tiida second generation was launched end of August

The All-new 2014 Nissan Tiida 5-door hatchback is available with the choice of two engines and five well-equipped grades. Starting with the 1.6-litre ‘S’, which comes as standard with 60/40 rear split bench, dual front airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), BA (Brake Assist), next Generation Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) and keyless entry, rising to the 1.8-litre SL Plus, with leather seats, 6 airbags and electrically-controlled sunroof. Available options include satellite navigation, 5.8” QVGA colour display and rear view camera and iPod® connectivity. Given the popularity of Tiida, I have given the various specs also below.

Power-train efficiency: equipped with either 116hp (154Nm) HR16DE 1.6-litre or 131hp (174Nm) MRA8DE 1.8-litre engines and the new generation Xtronic CVT transmission, All-new Tiida provides performance and fuel efficiency.
