Dubai has many of the largest showrooms, and the most successful dealers of motoring brands across the world. In its streets and parking lots, you can find cars that scarcely ply the Piccadilly or 5th avenue of New York. Not surprising if Dubai International Motor Show is growing in prominence and size, with as many as 108 launches that include 17 global new entrants. The show has more space, showbiz and activities of fun and thrills!
The show runs from 5 to 9 November 2013 at Dubai World Trade Centre and is expected to be the largest edition in its history with over a 100,000 expected visitors. More than 15% percent bigger, over 600 exhibits will be spread over 65,000m², 15 concept cars will wow their audience and contests like the Red Bull parking lot drift will engage the visitors. The inaugural edition of Dubai Grand Parade will offer an hour-long spectacle for those thronging the Sheikh Zayed Road and prominent arteries of Dubai’s premium residential areas to admire.
The international stature of the Dubai International Motor Show is reflected in the record number of key manufacturers adding a global launch to their Dubai fixture. Those who have chosen this venue for their global launches include high profile exhibitors like BAIC Motors, Bentley, Brabus, Bugatti, Devolro, Kia, Land Rover, Nissan, Okcu, Rolls-Royce, Spania GTA and W Motors. Besides, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Opel, Porsche and Toyota have gathered compelling substance for regional launches. The future will be showcased here by the 15 concept cars from Aston Martin, BMW, Devel 16, Ford, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lexus, Lincoln, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen and Zenvo. Brands new to the show include: Stingray RV UK, Chery, JAC, Opel, Rumble Cycle, Suzuki and Yamaha bikes.
