Minutes ago, RAM has launched what they described as the fastest, quickest and most powerful production truck in the world – the 1500 TRX. If TRX stands for T-Rex, then the intentions are pretty clear – eat up competition with a super-sized monster!
Driven by a 6.2L Supercharged engine, the RAM 1500 TRX has 702 hp and 881 Nm of torque (650 lb ft) which enables it to shoot through the 60 mph mark in 4.5 seconds! This is the first ever RAM truck with paddle shifters and it can do 190 kmph (118 miles per hour) – of which 175 kmph (108 mph) would be already flashing on the screen as it exits the quartermile gateway in just 12.9 seconds. The practical monster has 590 kg payload and 3674 kg trailer capacity. This RAM offers head-up display as an option and carbon fibre trims in its first limited edition, which is ready to be ordered from NOW!
