Every drive has a story, as our tagline says. However, the global automotive media that gathered in Wuhu last weekend for the Jetour Media Alliance (JMA) Technology Tour got the chance to be a part of redefining the story of the premium hybrid SUV itself.
The inaugural JETOUR Media Alliance (JMA) Technology Tour took place last weekend from October 17th to 20th in Wuhu, Anhui, under the theme “Innovation – Defining the Future”. The event offered a platform for industry partners to come together and experience the brand’s cutting edge new energy technologies firsthand. The Jetour G700 test drive was the highlight of the four-day event, which also included the Global Innovation Conference, media workshops and cultural experiences.

Media from around the world gathered at the Hongyangshan Automotive Sports Park in Anhui to experience the JETOUR G700, the brand’s first flagship hybrid off-road vehicle.
Jetour G700 – the new experience of hybrid off-roading
The event and experience were built around the new all-terrain premium hybrid off-road SUV – G700, and the GAIA Architecture, to demonstrate Jetour’s preeminence as “the world’s leading hybrid off-road brand.” G700 is powered by JETOUR’s GAIA iDM-O hybrid system that combines a 2.0T engine with dual electric motors for an impressive output of 935 hp and 1,135 N-m of torque. This massive power can get the hybrid SUV from standstill to 100 kmph in just 4.6 seconds. And yet, G700 maintains a combined range of 1,400 km and fuel consumption of just 8.8 L/100 km (WLTC). This unique blend of compelling performance and efficiency prepares the G700 for daunting off-road challenges as well as long journeys.

The advanced *GAIA All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture equips the G700 to attain a balance of power, ride comfort and confident handling. The SUV impressed the attending media during the field test by tackling steep slopes and muddy terrains with remarkable stability, thanks to its Intelligent XWD system (featuring front and rear differential locks along with a virtual central lock). The highly sophisticated system can analyse vehicle dynamics 100 times per second to distribute torque precisely, enabling smooth traction recovery even in challenging conditions.
Jetour G700 has a GAIA chassis that combines electromagnetic air suspension with a **hydroformed one-piece frame rail. This set up can absorb rough impact while maintaining stability within the cabin, setting a new benchmark in off-roading comfort. The premium interior appointments, like a Lexicon sound system and multi-mode massage seats make sure luxury isn’t left-behind luggage even on an adventurous journey. Staying ahead in intelligent safety too, the X-Mode integrates ADAS vision and perception data, automatically adjusting driving inputs for varying road conditions.

Jetour triggers a new wave of hybrid revolution
Drawing on nearly three decades of the group’s technological expertise, Jetour has been making waves ever since it entered the global stage and has sold close to 2 million vehicles in over 90 countries and regions. The brand has won hearts in the Middle East with models like T1 and T2.
