MG Motor and Al Yousuf Motors, their new UAE distributor, opened the doors to a new Dubai showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road earlier this week, and announced warranty and service benefits never seen before in its segment.

What a new partnership needs most is confidence, which is in turn, passed on to the customers. The most impressive words spoken at the opening were pertaining to the deal that accompanied each MG car. The largely unprecedented benefits were aimed at reassuring drivers with a long-term promise, and signaled a bold intention to succeed in this market.
The MG Models would come with a waiver of the VAT to begin with. They would enjoy 6 years or 200,000 km warranty on top of a 2-year complimentary service period. If you thought that was all, wait for this: Door-delivery and pick up service for regular service calls with a courtesy car during the service period. The last one is a service that only a few premium cars offer to justify the rather premium service bills they charge. MG Motor is setting a precedent few will be able to match because, the newly rejuvenated brand is clearly trying to make a lasting impression at any cost and is looking at long-term benefits rather than short-term goals.
Besides the support of its newly appointed dealer, the British-born carmaker is benefiting from substantial investment from its parent company, SAIC Motor, which was listed in the 2017 Fortune Global 500 List for the 13th consecutive year, ranking #41 overall and 7th amongst all global automakers.
Mr. Mohamed Iqbal Yousuf, Deputy president and Head of Marketing, Al Yousuf Group, added: “MG has an exciting model line-up and even more so following the introduction of the MG RX5 and MG ZS. The brand is in a strong position to build its presence in the Middle East market and we are looking forward to a fruitful and extensive partnership.” The showroom will also display the MG360 compact sedan.

As the new UAE distributor of MG Motor, Al Yousuf Motors will provide new car sales, servicing, finance packages and leasing deals. The showroom locations for MG Motor are: Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, Musafa, Abu Dhabi, E11, North Ras Al-Khaimah, Mohammed Bin Matar Road, Fujairah, Al Ittihad Street, Ajman.
