Sizzling sedans, fire-breathing SUVs and now adventurous and hardworking pickup trucks – Riddara RD6 is the latest addition to the widening range of electric vehicles in the region.
AGMC, one of the major automotive distributors in the UAE has added another brand to their portfolio with the brand Riddara, which comes under the Geely Holding Group. The first model to be revealed is the Riddara RD6, a practical and high-performance pick up that brings green mobility within reach.
Thrilling sustainability
Riddara RD6 is based on the M.A.P. (Multiple Attached Platform) 100% electric pickup truck architecture independently developed by Geely Holding Group from their cutting-edge technology and rich experience in the field of electric vehicles. M.A.P is China’s first and only platform built specifically for electric pickup trucks. It establishes new innovations in safety, intelligence and environmental protection.
Comfortably spacious and practically innovative
The Riddara RD6 is 5.26-m long with a spacious 1200L+ super rear bucket, which measures 1.525m x1.450m x 540mm (cargo depth), with up to 865 kg loading capacity.
The RD6 is designed with space for endless customisation. Its battery offers a world-leading 21kwh discharge capability, enabling it to power multiple 12V or 24V appliances simultaneously, which means a range of outdoor devices, from lighting to refrigerators, stereo systems and more can be connected to it, making the RD6 a great outdoor companion that offers home comfort wherever.

As expected of a pick-up truck RD6 is thrilling to drive. As expected of an EV, it has an impressive power output of 422hp and 585Nm torque taking the truck from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. And yet, RD6 promises a range of up to 455 kilometres (NEDC) under normal driving conditions, which is almost good enough for a trip from one end of the emirates to the other.
Interior comfort and tech
Comfort, adventure and tech fills the cabin. A 14.6-inch central control screen and 10.2-inch full LCD instrument panel bring all information within reach. Comfort features include premium leather seats, smart keyless entry, adaptive cruise control, and an eight-speaker audio system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. With 6 airbags, automatic emergency braking, collision warning, and pedestrian protection, the RD6 also presents class-leading safety.
Developed for UAE Weather
Riddara RD6 has undergone a thorough regional testing programme, the final stages of which took place in the UAE in the summer of 2024. This is expected to ensure optimal performance of the vehicles batteries, motors and systems in the region’s hot climate. The extreme heat of the UAE offers an ideal testing ground for Riddara’s advanced electric technology.
